Email Notification

For BO

CDBL offers a FREE Email Notification Service to Beneficiary Owner (BO) accountholders at their registered email addresses, with details of daily debit–credit transactions in their accounts. To receive email notifications, please provide your valid email address to your DP or brokerage house so it can be entered in your BO account.

CDBL also sends Email Confirmation when a BO account is opened or closed, and Email Alerts when vital BO details are modified — including name, bank account number, bank name, mobile number, and email address. Notifications are sent to the email address recorded in CDS. This helps prevent unauthorized changes to BO information and supports greater transparency in the capital market.

For DP

CDBL provides FREE Email Notification to owners and senior executives of DP houses regarding off-market transfers of securities to or from their DP house. These alerts help detect unauthorized transfers quickly so corrective action can be taken without delay. Email notifications for off-market securities transfers are sent on a daily basis when such transfers occur in the DP house.
